Christchurch Dentist, Merivale Dental Group was formed in 2010 and located in the heart of Merivale near the Christchurch city centre. The practice has an open and airy feel helping provide a relaxing atmosphere and is situated overlooking Papanui Road.
Our treatment philosophy involves providing the best dental care possible in a relaxed and friendly manner. We also firmly believe that prevention is better than the cure and will work with you to improve your oral healthcare and ensure your teeth and gums are in top condition. To help with this we have dedicated and very experienced dental hygienists as part of our team.
We do stand behind our work, but the mouth is a dynamic environment and sometimes things do not behave as they should. In the rare circumstance that any of our dental work should fail in a reasonable time frame following the completion of the treatment, we will repair it free of charge.
We also work with a few dental laboratories in Christchurch, around New Zealand and occasionally internationally. This is mainly for crown, bridge and implant work, or denture fabrication. We are very particular about the dental labs we work with and ensure we choose ones that share our values.
We like to involve you in our decision making process through effective communication and education. From our experience, the result is a treatment that both, you and we are pleased with. Home care education is also very important.
Just repairing the damage caused by dental disease won’t fix the problem because it will return without proper education. Our aim is not only to repair the damage, but also to help you understand where and how you can improve your oral health. Prevention of dental disease is the true hallmark of any successful dental treatment plan – at least that’s what we believe.
The practice is accessible from both Papanui Road and St Albans Street. There is car parking available out the back of the building that is shared with the other tenancies. This is accessible from the driveway at 7 St Albans Street.
